To attend the event, guests will need to purchase a general admission ticket to 360 CHICAGO. Once you're here, you can head to the adoption area to meet the dogs and spend some time with them. Volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about adoption, the shelter, and the doggos.

Our hope is that you'll fall in love with one of these dogs and take them home for good. Each dog has a unique personality and story, and we're excited to introduce them to you. We know that you'll love them just as much as we do.

This event is a great opportunity to meet some amazing dogs and learn about adoption. We hope to see you there!

If you are unable to attend the adoption event, you can still support One Tail at a Time by donating during your next ticket purchase on 360 CHICAGO's website. Simply look for the option to donate while checking out. Your donation will go towards helping the organization rescue more dogs and cats and finding them loving homes. Thank you for your support!

CloudWalk

Guests will have another reason to hold their breath when looking down as they experience 360 CHICAGO’s new 3D mural by artist Nate Baranowski. This is the first commission Baranowski will complete for an observation deck, and its optical illusion tempts visitors to step into the artwork, onto a crane platform in the clouds for a thrilling experience beginning Friday, July 15.

[siteorigin_widget class="M56_S0Widget_CarrousselGallery_Widget"][/siteorigin_widget]

Baranowski, a street painter, muralist, and fine artist who earned his BFA from the University of Illinois-Champaign, says lots of preparation and design goes into every project. The 360 CHICAGO installation will take Baranowski and project partner, artist Chris Carlson, approximately 50 hours over three days to complete the 10’ x 30’ 3D mural. Originally inspired to pursue 3D mural work after discovering the art at chalk festivals in Florida, he was very interested to see people stepping into the artwork.

“3D pieces are designed to view from one exact vantage point to get the full 3D effects. We’ll put a sign or footprints in place to illustrate where to capture the perfect viewpoint and the optical illusion,” says Baranowski who has completed over 200 3D works of art in a combination of permanent, semi-permanent and temporary works.

360 CHICAGO also features an ongoing and rotating art series that spotlights local Chicago talents who capture the importance of social change, positive movement forward and the beauty of Chicago.

The Chicago Bears wrapped their offseason program with the conclusion of minicamp last week, and the rookies celebrated with their first tour of their new home; The Windy City.

Cornerback Kyler Gordon, safety Jaquan Brisker, wide receiver Velus Jones Jr. and the rest of the Bears crop of rookies spent their Friday getting a glimpse of their new home. That included a bus tour seeing the Chicago skyline, a stop at 360 Chicago Observation Deck and their first tour of Soldier Field, where they got to walk on the field for the first time.

It could not have been a more perfect day for the rookies to take in the beautiful Chicago skyline.

Soldier Field was looking pretty sharp as well.

And finally, the chance to experience TILT, Chicago's highest thrill ride.

All in all, it looked like a fantastic day for the Bears and we couldn't have been happier to be a part of it. Wishing these young men the best of luck on the field this year!

April Fools!

Find out what's really happening at 360 CHICAGO!

Happening Now at 360 Chicago

Forget Big Ben, say hello to Big John.

875 N Michigan Ave, formerly the John Hancock Center, has reached a new naming rights agreement with Omega SA. The famous Swiss watchmaker, which has a flagship store directly below the Hancock on Michigan Avenue, plans to give the world famous tower a significant facelift. A giant fully-functional clocktower will be constructed over a 4-year period at the top of the tower, making the new Omega Center the 2nd-tallest working clocktower in the world. Construction is not expected to affect residential floors, and a thrill element in collaboration with 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck is also in the works.

Early diagrams of the future Omega Center

Representatives from Omega could not be reached for comment, but one building engineer speculated that impending daylight saving time legislation may have sealed the deal. "At least we won't have to get up there to set the damn thing forward and back twice a year," he said.

The clocktower is another in a long line of renovations to the historic skyscraper, including 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck's TILT, a moving thrill ride which opened to the public in 2014. Omega Center promises to be another iconic element of one of America's most distinctive skylines.

Construction set to begin...

Never.

But while, you're here...

Help us Protect Lake Michigan

Time is running out to protect our Great Lakes from the effects of climate change.

All Earth Month, 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck is asking you to help us preserve our most valuable natural resource: Lake Michigan. We've witnessed firsthand the changes our beloved lakefront has undergone over the 5+ decades our building has been open to the public. From the 94th floor, we watch weather get more extreme year after year. From rising waters to pollution and plastics to invasive species, our beloved Lakes are at risk.

Luckily, there are a few easy ways you can help preserve them. For starters, you can donate to the Alliance for the Great Lakes using the link below. Lake Michigan is a living, breathing, vital part of our city. During Earth Month, we want to do what we can to preserve the Lake for generations to come.

New 1,000-ft water slide would set a new world record

If it was real.

But hey, while you're here...

Help us Protect Lake Michigan

April is Earth Month, and we're doing something much less wasteful than building a giant water slide.

360 CHICAGO Observation Deck looks out directly over our city's most cherished natural resource: Lake Michigan. From the 94th floor, we watch it freeze every winter and crowd with Chicago boaters every summer. We see water levels rise and fall. We see it illuminated with the reflection from Navy Pier's fireworks. We watch steam rising from its surface during extreme cold snaps. Lake Michigan is a living, breathing, vital part of our city. During Earth Month, we want to do what we can to preserve the Lake for generations to come.

Walk the Mag Mile

As we get closer and closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Loop and Michigan Avenue will continue to transform into a winter wonderland. Be prepared to enjoy a ton of lights, robust store window displays and carriages along the streets.

Be sure to wear a mask and stay socially distanced to do your part in helping eliminate COVID-19.

See the Larger-than-Life Christmas Tree

While you’re walking around downtown, make a point to see the Great Tree. It is a tradition over 100 years old to decorate a huge Christmas tree that is 45 feet tall in Macy’s Department Store. It’s located inside the store’s restaurant and is an Instagram-worthy snapshot.

Ice Skate with Loved Ones

Downtown Chicago is home to multiple beautiful skating rinks! Maggie Daley Park, McCormick Tribune Plaza and Millennium Park Ice Rink are all great spots to make memories with loved ones.
