New Year’s Resolutions for Chicago Residents

Now that a new decade is officially underway, it’s important that we once again go back to the drawing board about what we want to accomplish in the upcoming 365 days. Take your standard new year’s resolutions up a notch by thinking outside of the box; you can incorporate the Windy City into your goals to help you take advantage of what the city has to offer!

GET ACTIVE

Getting (and staying) active is a goal for many Chicago residents. However, there are ways of doing so that don’t involve going to the gym! For example, instead of driving to the train, you can walk or take your bike when the weather warms up. You can also spend an afternoon shopping on Michigan Avenue which will easily help you hit your step goal for the day. Or, if you want to get active above the clouds on the best observation deck in Chicago, participate in one of our yoga events! You can register for a class here, but make sure to do so in advance, as spots for the classes fill up quickly! Who wouldn’t want to complete a downward dog overlooking the Chicago skyline?

EAT HEALTHY

Chicago is known for its abundance of incredible restaurants. Whether you live in the city or the suburbs, we encourage you to find a new, healthy spot this year that allows you to eat out without the guilt. Think fresh salads, wraps, healthy smoothies and so much more!

BE MORE SOCIAL
